Job summary

McKinstry in Spokane, WA is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer for our New Construction Mechanical division to lead project design and execution. You will support RFPs, coordinate equipment procurement, manage subcontractor scopes, and work with general contractors, architects and owners to meet project goals.

You will develop site plans, assist in monthly financial reporting, respond to RFIs, and help create maintenance manuals for clients, while gaining hands-on field experience

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management or related field.
• At least three years in engineering, PM or construction.
• Experience with General Contractors or major mechanical subcontractors preferred.
• Proficient in scheduling software: MS Project and Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RFPs and procurement; track current/future jobs.
• Coordinate equipment procurement with purchasing and vendors.
• Schedule and define scope with subs; assist monthly financial reporting.
• Communicate with GCs, architects, engineers and owners.
• Collaborate with project management; address field questions daily.
• Develop site-specific work plans and maintain submittals.
