Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in planning and daily execution on a So Cal construction project. You will help manage the schedule, submittals, materials, and budgets to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, leading site meetings, ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability plans, and preparing progress reports for leadership and clients while fostering strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or related field; 2–4 years construction experience.
• Demonstrates leadership, ability to resolve conflicts and direct others.
• Creates, manages, and revises schedules based on project priorities.
• Organizes people, tools and equipment to achieve results.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning and daily execution of construction projects.
• Manage submittal log, schedules, and budgets to expedite delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractor compliance with contract documents.
• Support start-up activities, safety, quality control and sustainability plans.
• Prepare progress reports and attend client/owner meetings.
