Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support projects in the Los Angeles area. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily execution, including managing submittals and material deliveries, while maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure quality and profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related Engineering field or 3 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator role.
Construction work experience or internship experience required.
Proficiency using PC and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

Support Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily execution.
Assist with scheduling, submittal approvals, and material deliveries.
Maintain schedules and budgets to ensure quality, profitability, and safety.
Promote customer relations and contribute to a safety/Zero Harm culture.
