Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated seeks a civil engineering professional to plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities for projects of varying size, focusing on quality and cost effectiveness.

You will lead project scheduling, cost control, and provide technical support in planning, quality control, constructability reviews, and team mentorship. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred, with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in construction estimating support, engineering, or similar work.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combinations of training and experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera Scheduling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Oversee project engineering assignments to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Provide technical support in planning, quality control, and constructability reviews.
• Represent project and department in client meetings and maintain clear communications.
