Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Construction Senior Project Engineer for our client in Bingham Farms, MI. You will lead project planning, refine charters, and create detailed work scopes to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will also develop RFQ/Bid documentation, oversee construction, collaborate with architects, contractors, and authorities, and report progress to management and clients, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning efforts, refining project charters and creating detailed work scopes
• Develop and manage request for quote/bid documentation
• Oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and schedule
• Collaborate with various project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and municipal authorities
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality control
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients
