Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction in the United States is seeking an Assistant Project Manager III to support complex projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will collaborate with project managers and superintendents to lead scheduling, budgeting, and quality control while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least three years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels, customers and vendors.
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and organize information regarding plans, deliveries and productivity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to travel and work on projects outside of the office.

Responsibilities

• Supports the coordination of planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Performs jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety and quality.
• Collaborates with Project Manager on management of productivity, costs, quality and safety.
• Assists in managing assigned projects including developing processes for delivering total concrete solutions.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitors the overall safety and quality issues on the project.
• Lead and manage the development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promotes their efficient use.
• Supports the coordination of all subcontractor and vendor contracts and associated processes.
• May assume the role of Project Manager for smaller projects as needed.
• Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned.
