Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I in Columbus, OH to support project managers in coordinating and overseeing construction projects. You will assist with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and safety compliance, while monitoring progress and maintaining documentation.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to ensure projects stay on time and within budget, with opportunities for growth in a stable, experienced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
• 1–2 years of work experience supporting similar responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.
• Detail oriented with ability to analyze and organize information on plans, material deliveries, and productivity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Ability to travel and work on projects outside of the office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Performs jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety, and quality.
• Assists in managing project productivity, costs, quality and safety per company policies.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships to procure projects and reduce risk.
• Creates and coordinates material and equipment schedules for efficient use.
• Coordinates all subcontractor and vendor contracts and related processes.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
