Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction in Kansas is seeking an Assistant Project Manager III to oversee scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination for complex concrete projects. You will support project managers and superintendents, mentor junior staff, and help drive project success from pre-construction through closeout.

The role emphasizes independent decision-making and collaboration with field teams, with potential for smaller project PM duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related degree, or its equivalent and a minimum of three years supporting similar responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors.
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and organize significant information related to plan layouts, material deliveries and jobsite productivity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Ability to travel and work on projects outside the office area.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Performs jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety and quality.
• Collaborates with Project Manager on management of productivity, costs, quality and safety.
• Assists in managing assigned projects including developing processes for delivering total concrete solutions.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance project procurement and efficiency.
• Monitors overall safety and quality issues on the project.
• Lead and manage development and coordination of material and equipment schedules.
• Supports coordination of all subcontractor and vendor contracts.
