Ceco Concrete Construction in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support project managers with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and safety compliance on concrete frame and formwork projects.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and coordination with contractors and suppliers to keep projects on time and on budget; a related degree and 1–2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent, with 1–2 years supporting project roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze plans, materials, and productivity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and OSHA safety standards.
• Willingness to travel and work on projects outside the office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Perform jobsite inspections of shoring, rebar, safety, and quality.
• Assist in managing productivity, costs, quality, and safety.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to procure projects and reduce risk.
• Create and coordinate material and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor contracts.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
