Job summary

Oline Construction in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for assigned construction projects from setup through closeout.

You will partner with the Controller, Project Managers, and operations to keep job-cost data current, prepare owner billings, and monitor WIP. The role requires 5+ years of construction accounting, strong Excel skills, and CMiC experience; join a growing, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction project accounting experience.
• Direct project accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of AIA billing, lien waivers, and change orders.
• Proficient with WIP and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting from setup through closeout.
• Prepare owner billings including AIA pay apps, retainage, COs.
• Manage subcontractor pay apps and documentation.
• Reconcile billings, job costs, commitments, GL activity.
• Monitor budgets, costs, changes, and billing status.
• Team with PMs to review financials and resolve questions.
• Assist with monthly WIP reporting and closeout activities.
• Support month-end close for project accounting.
• Assist with project setup, contract administration, closeout.
• Help strengthen internal controls as the company grows.
