Job summary

MAAS is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large public-school construction programs in California, directing OARs, schedules, change orders, and fiscal oversight across multiple projects.

The role demands extensive experience in educational facilities or large public works, with a strong focus on dispute resolution, contract administration, and cross-department coordination. It is an in-person, full-time position with comprehensive employee ownership benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large programs with multimillion-dollar projects.
• Background in educational facilities, public works, or large commercial projects.
• CCM credential may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex construction issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Develop, assign, and monitor OARs on projects.
• Track construction progress against schedules and assess change orders.
• Review payment applications and manage project fiscals across multiple projects.
• Provide direction over schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, and quality control.
• Support bid and contract planning and assess specifications against needs and timelines.
• Coordinate with districts and internal departments on contracts and policies.
• Administer contracts for architects and consultants.
