Job summary

Frontline Source Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager for K-12 construction to oversee capital improvement and modernization projects in active educational environments in Dallas, Texas.

The role demands 10–15 years of progressive construction program management, a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, and proven ability to lead budgets, schedules, stakeholders, and safety/quality programs across large public sector initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • 10 to 15 years of progressive construction project or program management experience.
  • Mandatory experience overseeing K-12 construction projects.
  • Experience managing large scale commercial, institutional, or public sector construction initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of capital improvement programs and complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent K-12 construction and capital improvement projects from inception through closeout.
  • Manage all phases of project delivery including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction execution, and turnover.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, risk mitigation, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular executive level reporting regarding project status, financial performance, milestones, and risks.
  • Drive successful project execution within occupied and operational educational environments.
  • Participate in long term capital planning and program implementation efforts.

Company Overview:
  • A large scale public sector organization is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee complex K-12 capital improvement and construction initiatives.
  • This individual will lead multiple high visibility projects involving campus renovations, new construction, modernization efforts, and infrastructure improvements within active educational environments.
  • The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing large scale institutional construction programs, with a strong background in K-12 project delivery, stakeholder coordination, budget oversight, and contractor management.
  • This role requires a strategic and hands on leader capable of driving projects from planning through completion while maintaining strict adherence to schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple concurrent K-12 construction and capital improvement projects from inception through closeout
  • Manage all phases of project delivery including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction execution, and turnover
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, risk mitigation, and quality assurance initiatives
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable construction standards, safety regulations, permitting requirements, and procurement processes
  • Provide regular executive level reporting regarding project status, financial performance, milestones, and risks
  • Manage contractor performance, construction documentation, change orders, and project controls
  • Support stakeholder communication efforts across leadership teams, operational groups, and community representatives
  • Drive successful project execution within occupied and operational educational environments
  • Participate in long term capital planning and program implementation efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
  • 10 to 15 years of progressive construction project or program management experience
  • Mandatory experience overseeing K-12 construction projects
  • Mandatory experience managing large scale commercial, institutional, or public sector construction initiatives
  • Strong understanding of capital improvement programs and complex construction delivery environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high value projects simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership, communication, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large scale educational or municipal capital programs
  • Familiarity with public sector construction processes and compliance standards
  • Experience managing renovations, modernization efforts, and ground up construction projects
