Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the on-site construction of large-scale solar, storage, and substation projects. This full-time role in Yerington, NV requires travel and reports to company leadership.

The position involves budgeting and GMP/Lump Sum contract management, subcontract bidding, and maintaining project schedules with a focus on safety and quality. Strong leadership and 8–10 years of field experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent and construction mgmt experience.
• 8–10 years field construction management experience including supervisory duties.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, urgency, and communication abilities.
• Drafting and computer skills; familiarity with project controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple or large, complex projects.
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Set up and implement job procedures to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery.
• Keep project on schedule and maintain timely reporting to management.
• Develop safety plans with the Superintendent and implement safety procedures.
• Manage, train, and supervise project team and organize regular meetings with management and subcontractors.
• Review contract conditions and ensure compliance with all terms.
