Job summary

Energy Systems Group in Tennessee is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Public Sector Central team. This remote role requires frequent travel up to 50%, with overnight trips as needed.

You will coordinate all aspects of project execution from design to installation, manage budgets and contractor performance, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction across diverse public sector projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, with a preference for engineering or construction management.
• 7+ years’ engineering and construction-related experience managing construction projects.
• Experience developing schedules and budgets; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Federal, and State safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering staff to prepare estimates and pricing aligned with project goals.
• Maintain contact with customers to coordinate work and communicate progress, costs, and training.
• Manage contractors and vendors, issue contracts, schedule work, and ensure on-time arrival of equipment.
• Monitor project costs and change management; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead installation oversight and ensure safety compliance.
