Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager- Power & Energy in St. Louis, MO (remote option available) to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects. You will guide administrative, commercial, and technical aspects, drive budgets, schedules, and client satisfaction, and mentor teams throughout project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s in engineering, 10+ years PM experience in related sectors, PMP/CAP-M certification, and strong communication skills for stakeholder coordination and governance.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Essential project management certification (PMP/CAP-M); 10+ years in project management in the A/E/C or related industries.
• Experience with utility, energy, transportation, water, or large capital infrastructure programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen to bridge project management and execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for leadership, clients, and teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and PM tools (MS Project, SharePoint, Visio).
• Willingness to travel as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level technical project leadership across multiple projects or a portfolio.
• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and change management.
• Coordinate with client representatives, internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and maintain project documentation and reviews.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.
