Plant Construction Company, L.P. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex construction initiatives for the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a minimum of five years of project management experience on challenging builds. You will coordinate with clients, architects, and field teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards across projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities

• Participateinpre-constructionactivitiesasneeded
• Actasliaisonwiththeclient,architect,consultants,andtheDepartmentofBuildingInspection
• Interfacewithsitesupervisors;lookforandimplementinnovativeconstructionmethods
• Prepareandmaintainprojectschedules
• Prepareprojectdocuments–clientchangeorders,subcontracts,subcontractorchangeorders,meetingminutes,letters,memorandums,notices,etc.
• Coordinatingwithonsitecontractorsinplanningandcoordinatingthestagesofconnectingnewsystemswithexistingutilitysystems
• Controlandmonitorsubcontractorsandmonitortheirperformance
• Managecostchanges,tracklegitimatechangeordersrequests,compilefairpricingforworkandforecastfinancialresultsaccurately
• Reviewandexpeditesubmittalsandmaterials,aswellasmonitorcriticalmaterialitemsanddeliveries
• Maintainqualitycontrolandproductionefficiency
• Maintainimmediateanddirectresponsibilityforproductionphasesoftheproject;resolveproductionproblems
• Overseethatjobsitesafetyproceduresarebeingfollowed
• ProvidefeedbackonproductioncoststotheEstimatingDepartment
• Developandleadthemarketresearchexecutionplanforproductdesignalternativesthatfitprojectbudgetanddesignintent
• Create the design/procurement execution plans that fulfill contractual project scope obligations and provide potential cost saving<br/>design and energy efficient solutions based on current sub tier (supplier, manufacturer) market trends
• Establishprojectprotocolsanddevelopplanstoorganizeandcommunicateproductliterature,O&amp;Mmanuals,RFI’sandsubmittals<br/>associatedwithdesignclarificationandproductsubstitutionstoalldesignstakeholdersontheproject
• CreatetheBIMexecutionplansalignedcohesivelywithdesigndocuments,subcontractordesign-buildtradesandconstructabilityconstraints
