Job summary

Plant Construction Company, L.P. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in the San Francisco metro area.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, safety, and quality while coordinating with clients, architects, and inspectors to deliver on time and within scope. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with scheduling and BIM/CM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years construction-related experience is required.
• Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership potential and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-construction activities as needed.
• Act as liaison with the client, architect, consultants, and the Department of Building Inspection.
• Interface with site supervisors; implement innovative construction methods.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare project documents – change orders, subcontracts, meeting minutes, notices, etc.
• Coordinate with onsite contractors for new systems integration.
• Control and monitor subcontractors and their performance.
• Manage cost changes and forecast financial results accurately.
• Review submittals and monitor critical material items and deliveries.
• Maintain quality control and production efficiency.
• Ensure safety procedures on site are followed.
• Provide feedback on production costs to Estimating.
• Develop market research for design options within budget and intent.
• Create design/procurement plans to meet scope and save costs.
• Establish project protocols and distribute literature, manuals, and submittals.
