Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager in Ohio to lead diverse commercial projects from preconstruction through turnover. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls, while building schedules and coordinating internal teams with trade partners to meet milestones.

You will drive documentation workflows, ensure safety and quality on site, and manage client and design-team communications. A proactive approach to risks and a focus on turnover deliverables are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with diverse construction experience.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Ability to build trust quickly with clients, trade partners, field staff, and design teams.
• Experience coordinating complex scopes, particularly MEP/FP and phased work.
• Proficiency with industry software such as Procore or Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Own the project lifecycle for commercial builds—from preconstruction involvement through turnover.
• Lead budgeting and financial management, including buyout, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Build and manage schedules, coordinating internal teams and trade partners.
• Drive documentation workflows: RFIs, submittals, procurement, change management, reporting.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, logistics, and sequencing.
• Lead client and design-team communication, running OAC meetings.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project performance.
• Manage project closeout including punch, commissioning, and turnover deliverables.
