Job summary

MPI in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee major construction projects and lead a client-focused team. You will drive schedules, budgets, and reporting while coordinating with multiple disciplines and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PM for general contracting, strong communication, and proficiency with Prolog/Procore/BlueBeam and MS Office. Excellent client relations and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in project management for a general contracting company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team setting.
• Experience with simple estimates is a plus.
• Proficient in construction management software (Prolog, Procore, BlueBeam).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful management of construction projects and lead the team to project goals.
• Coordinate project requirements across disciplines and with stakeholders.
• Review reporting and prepare reports on progress and cost for clients and senior management.
• Promote and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare bids, receive and clarify bids, and make award recommendations.
• Establish and monitor project costs and schedule.
• Receive, review and process vendor submittals and expediting deliveries.
• Prepare project status reports to inform and coordinate with the client.
• Develop and implement site utilization plans and crew sizing.
