Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager to plan, schedule, and oversee commercial construction projects from initiation to completion in the Cincinnati area. You will manage budgets, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure timelines are met while upholding safety and quality standards.

The successful applicant will lead project teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, monitor progress, and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor.
  • Estimating and pre-construction experience is essential.
  • Experience delivering projects across Industrial, Manufacturing, Warehouse & Distribution, Restaurant/Hospitality, Office, and Education.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and project delivery.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure costs stay within allocated resources.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain timelines.
  • Monitor progress and address issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead and guide project teams to achieve project objectives effectively.
  • Resolve conflicts or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
