Job summary

MPI in Ohio is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client communications, partnering with Superintendents to ensure milestones stay on track.

Ideal candidates have strong project financials knowledge and a history of delivering healthcare, education, multifamily, or commercial work. This role offers long-term growth and direct access to leadership.

Qualifications

• Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor.
• Experience delivering healthcare, higher education, multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, institutional, or senior living projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, buyout, contracts, and subcontractor management.
• Stable career history with a reputation for being collaborative and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budget management, scheduling, client communication, and overall project execution.
• Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure field operations, subcontractor performance, and project milestones stay on track.
• Lead buyout activities, contract administration, change management, forecasting, and cost control throughout the life of the project.
• Work directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to solve issues before they become problems.
• Play an active role during preconstruction by reviewing logistics, constructability, budgeting, procurement strategy, and project planning.
