Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead new store construction and renovation projects across the United States from its San Jose, CA operations. The role requires overseeing multiple teams, ensuring quality, and managing budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction project management, a related bachelor's degree, and strong leadership with excellent English communication. Travel across the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in retail or supermarket environments.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and possess strong technical understanding.
• Proven supervisory, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Experience designing, architecture, construction, maintenance, and renovations.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver new store construction and renovations on time and on budget.
• Provide clear direction, daily scheduling, follow-up, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Establish and implement Construction Management Systems to monitor active projects.
• Develop, review, and update project plans, specs, and budgets.
• Research and recommend materials, equipment, and tools as needed.
• Supervise multiple project teams ensuring quality and timelines.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, contractors, landlords, and authorities.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and track finances and documentation.
• Travel frequently across the U.S. to oversee store developments.
