Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the day-to-day management of complex construction projects. You will create project plans detailing tasks, timelines, and resources to achieve project goals and communicate with stakeholders to manage risk and progress.

You will lead contract administration, procurement, scheduling, and financial reporting, mentor project teams, and drive a culture of safety on site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with a general contractor on large projects.
• 4+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Knowledge of contracts, risk, and financials in construction.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication and negotiation with owners and trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understand all parties involved.
• Secure permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues.
• Lead project close-out including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment docs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and designers.
• Establish deadlines and monitor project progress.
• Participate in proposals and presentations as requested.
• Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
• Support acquisition of new work by participating in proposals.
