Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an experienced project leader to oversee the installation of contracted work on large‑scale commercial projects. You will drive safety culture, manage sequencing and logistics, and ensure quality and on-time delivery while maintaining budget adherence.

The role requires 7+ years on major construction programs, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of scheduling, contracts, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects successfully from start to finish.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• Demonstrated experience leading field operations and communicating plans effectively across multiple audiences.
• Working knowledge of applicable safety and building regulations (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the timely and quality installation of contracted work for total project scope or a specific portion.
• Implement safety culture and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Create and manage plans to sequence work, manage site logistics, and track materials and personnel.
• Ensure high quality of work consistent with project and company standards.
• Drive project on schedule and on budget with initiative and accountability.
• Develop and communicate project schedule and milestones to stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing team.
• Cultivate strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Represent the company professionally in meetings and interactions.
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Participate in staff charts, general conditions, project costs, and KPI monitoring.
• Contribute to close-out activities including punch lists and building operations training.
• Demonstrate advanced problem-solving to overcome obstacles and conflicts.
