Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager specializing in ground-up restaurant and retail builds.

You will oversee multiple projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients. Based in Reston, VA with hybrid work flexibility, the role requires hands-on project leadership, strict schedule control, and a keen eye for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Background in restaurant and retail construction with ground-up and tenant builds.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
• Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and client/vendor relationships.
• Experience with project management software like Procore, Primavera, or Raken.
• PMP certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle restaurant and retail projects within schedule and budget.
• Conduct regular site visits to enforce safety, quality, codes.
• Monitor expenses and drive cost-control.
• Interpret blueprints and architectural designs and execute plans.
• Identify risks and propose solutions.
• Lead meetings with contractors, vendors, clients, and teams.
