Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead oversight of a major project site in Laurel, MD, with potential visits to Washington DC and Fort Meade. The role demands independent problem solving, strong leadership, and a track record in delivering complex construction programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of construction related activities for contracts.
• Support COR by performing all project management tasks.
• Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
• Coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review.
• Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
• Review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
• Provide assistance to the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings.
• Draft technical responses to any change orders.
• Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications.
