Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery in Washington state seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale construction programs, manage cost, schedule, and quality, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams, knowledge of RFI tracking, change management, and regulatory compliance, with CCM/DBIA certifications preferred and a 5+ year track record in public sector projects.

Qualifications

• Public sector construction experience in Washington (city, county, or government facilities).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build client relationships.
• Experience managing complex capital projects through full lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, cost control, change management, and financial oversight.
• Experience administering consultant/contractor procurement, including scope development and negotiation.
• CCM and/or DBIA certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of estimating, scheduling and cost control.
• RFIs, contract documents, forecasts, change orders, and payments review.
• Build and maintain client relationships; coordinate with planners and operation staff.
• Ensure all required approvals, funding, codes, and standards are met.
• Lead project cost control, schedules, and quality assurance from design to closeout.
• Maintain project records and use automated project management systems.
• Provide leadership to project teams and coordinate with consultants, inspectors and support staff.
• Assist with scope development, procurement, and contractor selection; interview and evaluate credentials.
• Support warranty compliance and project closeout activities.
• Ensure projects stay within scope, schedule, and budget with proper reporting.
