Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery in Tri-Cities, Washington seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager focused on public sector builds. You will monitor project delivery, visit sites, and review schedules, costs, and changes to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.

The role requires overseeing budgets, subcontracts, and documentation, coordinating with cost advisory teams, and ensuring safety and compliance across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects in Eastern Oregon & Washington throughout entire lifecycle.
• Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Experience with projects from $7M to $50M+.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, reporting and leadership skills.
• OSHA 10 hour minimum and safety program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction projects on-site for clients with accountability for delivery.
• Conduct site visits and verify progress against drawings and specs.
• Review and manage change orders, subcontracts, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with cost advisory teams on estimates and take-offs.
• Prepare status reports and advise on construction funds releases.
• Ensure compliance with architectural/engineering best practices and permits.
• Review and comment on loan agreements, qualification statements, and related docs.
• Assist in obtaining zoning, surveys, permits, utility letters, soils/foundation reports, ADA compliance.
