Job summary

North Star Talent Group is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager 2 – Construction to support a major Houston-area account. This role leads capital improvement, renovation, infrastructure, and facility projects from planning through completion, overseeing schedules, budgets, contractors, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely and in scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of construction or project management experience.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, or a related environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and facilities projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Review contractual scope and assess the impact of field directives, bulletins, and schedule changes.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, change orders, and supporting project documentation.
• Track project financials and communicate progress, risks, and issues to leadership.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project and job-progress meetings as needed.
• Support new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and critical-environment projects.
