Jobot is seeking a Superintendent for a well-established Boston-area general contractor. You will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams on high-profile developments.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule, and budget oversight, with focus on buyouts, submittals, RFIs, and field coordination to deliver quality work on time in a demanding New England market.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong communication with owners, architects, and trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Manage subcontractor buyout and contract execution.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Lead OAC and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, schedule, quality, and overall performance.
• Identify and resolve issues before they become larger problems.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Assist with preconstruction, estimating, and project planning as needed.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.
