Job summary

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Boise 548 operations based in Boise, ID. This role will lead construction projects from bidding through execution, focusing on margin, scheduling and safety.

You will manage field teams, read contract documents, coordinate with owners, engineers and subcontractors, and drive cost control and change management to protect profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Construction Management experience.
• Experience in Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanical construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, bid and secure construction projects with adequate revenue and margin.
• Initiate and maintain customer contact to enable securements and profitable execution.
• Direct and manage construction activities to maximize margin contributions.
• Interpret and analyze contract documents for each project.
• Manage job site personnel and relationships with owner, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, unions, etc.
• Implement loss control and claims management for workers' compensation.
• Analyze actual vs. estimated costs and develop action plans for variances.
• Solicit estimating department support to maximize bidding activity without sacrificing quality.
• Negotiate contract issues, change orders, scope changes and other project issues.
