Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC seeks an Operations Support Specialist 4 (Construction Oversight) in Los Alamos, NM, to oversee mission deliverables for construction activities at LANL. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery within a Hazard Category 2 radiological facility.

Responsibilities include guiding regulations, coordinating multiple project groups, and ensuring proper documentation, training, and budget management for end-to-end project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline required.
• Extensive construction experience (15+ years) with DOE/NRC environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance on governmental regulations and Laboratory guidelines; conducts investigations and reporting; supports readiness reviews for operations; manages activity approvals and documentation; plans and budgets; supports training and employee development; oversees budgets, and ensures end-to-end success of deliverables.
• Interfaces between facility operations and program tenants to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Supports development and delivery of policies, processes, and procedures for safe, compliant facility operations.
• Ensures timely completion of technical activities and projects by coordinating construction groups and staffing.
• Provides operational/administrative support as required and delivers timely group support for multiple projects.
• Ensures consistent application of construction engineering standards and practices across jobs.
