Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC in Los Alamos, NM seeks qualified candidates for Project Manager 2 or Construction Superintendent 3 roles to support Los Alamos National Laboratory. This onsite, 4/12 schedule role offers per diem for qualifying individuals.

The position focuses on field construction execution, overseeing craft activities, coordinating with foremen and engineers, and ensuring work packages align with LANL requirements and schedules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience with 5+ years in construction, maintenance, facility operations, or field supervision.
• Nuclear project or operational experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, piping drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Basic understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Control Account Manager responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership for construction and maintenance activities on upgrades, renovations, and modifications.
• Supervise multiple craft disciplines during scheduled activities.
• Lead pre-job briefings to communicate scope, hazards, controls, and expectations to field personnel.
• Coordinate daily with union craft foremen and field personnel to plan and execute work within bargaining agreements.
• Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Develop and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure safe and efficient execution.
