Black & Veatch Corporation is hiring a Construction Operations Manager to lead EPC and service projects in advanced power generation, including conventional, simple and combined cycle, and RICE projects. Travel will be required.

You will ensure resources, tools and execution strategies are in place to drive on-time, within-budget project delivery. The role emphasizes leadership, risk management and collaboration with clients, alliance partners and subcontractors to achieve safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10-20 years of construction operations experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR) per regulations.

Responsabilités

• Lead craft resourcing strategies and staffing alignment.
• Drive workforce planning aligned with the baseline schedule.
• Oversee construction readiness and gate reviews prior to mobilization.
• Deliver construction execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Guide site performance management including productivity, cost, and UR/PF curve performance.
• Partner with Construction Resource Managers and recruiters to staff projects with qualified professionals.
• Direct development and review of project construction execution plans.
• Develop execution plans for projects and proposals including staffing and cost estimates.
• Contribute to constructability reviews to improve efficiency and reduce cost/schedule.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Promote safety, health, quality and project specifications; support PMs.
• Build relationships with clients, partners and subcontractors.
• Evaluate alliance partners and subcontractors for project plans.
• Lead and develop direct reports; identify process improvements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across construction operations.
• Assess and support change management impacts.
• Ensure adherence to contractual change processes.
• Encourage team participation in continuous improvement and safety culture.
