Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Construction Operations Manager to lead high‑impact execution for EPC projects in power, including combined cycle, simple cycle, and RICE. You will ensure resources, tools, and strategies are in place to deliver on time and within budget while traveling as required.

You will build strong client and partner relationships, oversee staffing, and drive continuous improvement in safety, process, and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10-20 years of construction operations experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft resourcing strategies and staffing levels.
• Oversee construction readiness and gate reviews prior to mobilization.
• Deliver project execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
• Develop and review construction execution plans and risk assessments.
• Coach and develop direct reports and drive continuous improvement.
