TekWissen is seeking a Construction Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month onsite assignment in Georgetown, KY. The role focuses on startup, commissioning, and oversight of mechanical systems in a major automotive project.

The candidate will review design documents, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. Required 10+ years in industrial/commercial construction, a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, and OSHA 10; PMP and AutoCAD/Bluebeam skills are highly

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects.
OSHA 10 certification.
PMP certification is a plus.
Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience.

Mansioni

Facilitate mechanical building system startups and commissioning.
Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
Coordinate weekend shutdowns with contractors and facilities teams.
Prepare field engineering status reports for Project Managers.
Oversee field construction activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
Coordinate RFIs and Field Change Orders.
