Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Plymouth, MI team. You will perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and other construction materials, document results, and prepare field reports under supervision, with opportunities for advancement.

You should have 2+ years of relevant experience; ACI/ICC/WisDOT credentials are preferred or training can be provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in construction materials testing.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET) preferred; OSHA/industry credentials are a plus.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds, work outdoors year round, and read work plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and other materials.
• Document daily activities and testing results; prepare field reports.
• Assist project engineers, attend project meetings, and train other technicians.
