Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Project Manager to lead field and lab teams, coordinate testing and inspection of concrete, asphalt, soils, and aggregates on diverse job sites.

You will oversee scheduling, ensure compliance with ASTM/ACI/AASHTO standards, analyze data, generate reports, manage client relationships, and mentor staff while upholding safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in interpreting testing data.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage and lead a team of technicians and inspectors, ensuring training and safety on-site.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee testing on concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and more, per standards.
• Project Coordination: Schedule and coordinate testing activities with engineers and construction teams.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with codes and regulations to ensure best practices.
• Client Management: Build strong client relationships and provide responsive service.
