Job summary

Certerra-RMA Group in the Nashville area seeks an experienced Construction Materials Technician to perform field and laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will coordinate with project managers, client reps, contractors and teams to ensure testing compliance and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include sample collection, documentation, data analysis, and daily written/digital reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of material testing/inspection experience.
• Proficient with laptop, MS Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing, observation and inspection.
• Prepare clear written and digital reports daily for the Project Manager.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and assist with safety practices.
• Lead, train, and support junior technicians on projects.
