Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Principal Engineer to join our Atlanta field services team. You’ll oversee CMT projects, review reports, and assist with department and P&L management while mentoring staff and engaging with clients.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project management, and market development to ensure goals from proposal to final review are met and client relationships are cultivated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Eng, Construction Eng & Mgt, Materials Science Eng, Arch Eng, or Geology.
• Professional PE or PG licensure required.
• Senior reviewer designation at current/previous firm preferred.
• Maintains licenses and certifications for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMT projects; review reports; prepare proposals; assist with department and P&L management.
• Provide technical expertise by reviewing reports and mentoring staff.
• Mentor junior project managers; collaborate on staffing decisions.
• Lead project meetings with clients and provide technical resolutions.
• Market ECS services and maintain existing client relationships.
