Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Associate Principal to lead our Carrollton field services team. You will ensure project quality and supervise performance from proposal through final review, while consulting with clients and project teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include overseeing CMT projects and staff, mentoring junior managers, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field per the job listing.
• 8+ years of relevant experience including drafting, reviewing, and approving technical reports.
• Professional licensure: PE or PG.
• Must have senior reviewer designation; policy shared during interview/offer.
• Maintain licenses/certifications for compliance with laws.
• Valid driver's license and insurance if driving for ECS.
• Strong marketing skills with ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Demonstrated technical competence, leadership, safety, and professionalism.
• Expert knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM laboratory standards.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills with ability to work with clients and peers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMT projects, review technical reports, prepare and review proposals, and manage department and P&L.
• Provide technical expertise and mentor CMT staff through training and development.
• Mentor junior project managers and support team development, collaborating with managers and recruiters for staffing decisions.
• Host or attend project meetings with clients and provide technical resolutions as requested.
• Market ECS services and establish new, maintain existing client relationships.
• Career development support with potential certifications and reviewer status.
