Job summary

Intertek in Corpus Christi, Texas is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Technician to perform soil and concrete testing, site observation, and inspections under general supervision. You will read plans, interpret diagrams, and communicate results to project teams and clients.

The role requires certifications such as ACI Grade 1, Asphalt Level 1B, NICET II, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to work outdoors and lift 30–50 lbs. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Certifications in concrete testing and asphalt testing requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Able to perform field observations and testing with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil and concrete testing with project-specific observation and inspection duties.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, specs, and diagrams; communicate results to teams.
• Attend project meetings independently and liaise with client and project teams.
