Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a seasoned Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Project Manager to lead our Memphis field services team. You will drive project success from proposal through final invoice, consulting with clients and project teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, preparing invoices, change orders, and mentoring junior PMs while expanding client relationships and market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology (Construction Management or Technology degrees may not be considered).
• Minimum of 5 full years of relevant experience.
• Professional licensure (PE) or (PG).
• Valid driver's license and insurance if driving for ECS.
• Strong marketing skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of heavy construction safety practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of CMT principles, ASTM laboratory standards.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of construction materials testing projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets from proposal to final payment.
• Review daily reports; coordinate with project teams; resolve technical and administrative issues; train field staff on projects.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders; host or attend client meetings and follow up on reports.
• Mentor junior project managers and support staffing decisions with internal recruiters.
• Market ECS services and establish/maintain client relationships.
