Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a seasoned Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Project Professional to join our Memphis field services team. You will manage a variety of projects and coordinate with project teams from senior engineers to field staff to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include daily report review, budgeting, invoicing, change orders, client meetings, soil classifications, and mentoring junior staff to support team development.

Qualifications

• 10 years of field or lab CMT experience (or 6–8 with degree).
• Strong communication, safety, and ASTM lab standards knowledge.
• Valid driver''s license and insurance if driving for ECS.
• Experience with project management, consulting, and business development.
• Ability to mentor junior project managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project budgets, prepare invoices, pay applications, and assist with collection efforts.
• Oversee proposals and change orders; host or attend client meetings and follow up on reports as needed.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior project managers and support staffing decisions.
• Collaborate with project teams from senior engineers to field staff to meet deadlines.
