Job summary

ANTHC in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Construction Materials Technician III to support DEHE Process and Improvement, coordinating shipment of construction materials and equipment statewide.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, and the ability to obtain HAZMAT certification. A valid Alaska driver’s license is required; familiarity with Excel and SharePoint is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hazmat certification possible; First Aid/CPR after hire.
• Alaska driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serves internal and external customers regarding shipment of materials and equipment.
• Coordinates with vendors, transportation carriers, community members and ANTHC staff.
• Packages, consolidates and ships construction materials and equipment across the state.
• Ensures accuracy of content, quantity and condition of materials; maintains documentation.
• Performs routine maintenance on shipping equipment and follows safety procedures.
