Job summary

ANTHC is seeking a Construction Materials Technician to support the Division of Environmental Health and Engineering with shipping, receiving, and distribution of construction materials and equipment across Alaska. This role involves hands-on logistics, packaging, and coordination with carriers to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience in warehouse or shipping, and the ability to obtain HAZMAT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain HAZMAT certification for shipping of hazardous materials.
• Alaska driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Experience in construction material transporting/shipping or warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides expediting, receiving, staging and shipping of construction materials and equipment.
• Orders, restocks, receives, prepares, and transports construction materials to all areas of responsibility.
• Consolidates materials and equipment for shipment and coordinates with transportation carriers.
• Ensures compliance with safety, shipping and regulatory procedures and documents.
