Qualifikationen

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years in a Construction Materials Testing lab.
• Experience testing concrete, soils, aggregates, asphalt per industry standards.
• Strong collaboration across departments and project teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to mentor others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS.
• Valid driver’s license required on hire.
• ODOT Quality Concrete Testing certification or equivalent preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct and oversee laboratory team members in testing procedures and equipment.
• Lead sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, and asphalt.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Coordinate with project managers and subconsultants to manage schedules and deliverables.
• Review and prepare laboratory reports and testing documentation in a timely manner.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and applicability of findings.
• Maintain testing data using Microsoft Office and LIMS.
• Perform quality control reviews to meet Atlas standards.
• Support training and career growth for laboratory staff.
• Assist recruiting and onboarding for laboratory personnel.
• Maintain Quality Management System per AMRL, AASHTO, CCRL, and OregonDOT.
