Job summary

Atlas is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for Construction Materials Testing to oversee field and office activities across regions. You will lead staff, coordinate scheduling, review invoices, and ensure accreditation and certifications remain current.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of materials testing, and effective communication with clients and teams in a fast-paced environment. Travel between Idaho Falls and surrounding areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience in construction.
• Familiar with inspection and materials testing.
• Relevant certifications (ACI, ICC, NICET) preferred.
• Ability to travel between Idaho Falls and surrounding areas.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day activities across multiple service lines, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Scheduling & Resource Coordination: Align technician assignments with training and certification requirements.
• Invoice Review & Approval: Verify billing accuracy and support financial tracking for projects.
• Staff Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and safety oversight.
• Client Relationship Management: Drive client satisfaction and retention with proactive communication.
• Accreditation & Certification Management: Maintain laboratory accreditation and ensure certifications are current.
• Training & Development: Provide mentorship and guidance to staff for growth and competency.
• Complete/submit field reports accurately.
