Job summary

Atlas seeks a CMT Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of our third-party testing and inspection firm across multiple regions. You will lead staff, ensure quality service, and manage field and office activities with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong communication, and hands-on ability to coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation while maintaining high standards for client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
• Familiar with inspection and materials testing.
• 3 years in a leadership/management role.
• Certifications such as ACI, ICC, NICET preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform field inspections and document findings if certified.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Experience in office administration, coordination, or operations support.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple service lines and regions.
• Schedule and coordinate technician assignments with training and certification needs.
• Review invoices and support financial tracking for projects.
• Lead staffing, onboarding, performance management, and safety oversight.
• Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication.
• Maintain laboratory accreditation and ensure certifications stay current.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff for professional growth.
• Attend team, safety, and client meetings and support onboarding of new employees.
