Job summary

Atlas is seeking an entry-level Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Technician I to join our Lakewood, CO team. You will perform materials testing on aggregates, concrete, soil, and asphalt, travel to the Lakewood lab, and document results precisely to support safe, durable infrastructure.

No degree is required, though a science background and strong math skills are needed; high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Qualifications

• No degree required; science background and proficient math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum education.
• Bachelor's degree in a related science field is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong timeliness, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to calculate and apply formulas used in lab testing.
• Excel and Word experience is preferred.
• Maintain industry certifications as needed (CAPA/ACI/WAQTC).
• Work on-site daily at the Lakewood laboratory; no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials testing to determine properties of aggregates, concrete, soil, and asphalt.
• Travel to the Lakewood laboratory to conduct testing.
• Document and report test results accurately.
• Maintain testing equipment and a safe lab environment.
• Comply with quality, safety, and certification requirements.
